Henschel Hs-123

Still factory sealed. 1960s bagged kit with header. The Hs-123 was the Luftwaffe's first in- service dive bomber and was built by the famous locomotive maker Henschel. The '123 had been replaced by the start of WWII by the Stuka, but demand continued for the aircraft and they were of great use in Belgium and France. During the terrible weather of the Russian campaign, the HS-123 once again found itself in demand. When conditions were so bad that other aircraft could not fly, the Hs-123 would often be in the air. The sturdy construction and good flying characteristics made it a favorite among pilots. Scale:1/72
